Rev. Shiva Rodriguez has been a professional costumer for over twelve
years and has been doing effects work in the horror genre for longer than is
probably healthy. In her free time she studies historical execution
devices, victims, and the men behind the masks.
Warlock Michael K. Silva was born on Halloween in Honolulu. He is a proud Church of Satan member and the owner of Bolt of the Goat web site which features his artwork. He has been drawing since he was five years old. His artwork is a blend of the horrific and the darkly erotic. He creates images that are often spawned from dark and forbidden aspects of human nature- lust, anger, hatred, greed, fear, etc.- these are things he feels lie within the subconscious mind. Through his art, he tries to tap into this dark abyss. The dark and powerful paintings of Frank Frazetta have greatly influenced his style, as well as Conan the Barbarian comics and Heavy Metal Magazine. Other influences range from horror and science fiction movies of the 1960s to the 1980s, Robert E. Howard’s fiction, the weird fiction of H.P. Lovecraft, Satanism, and mythology.
Drawing in black and white is his favorite medium- in pencil, and sometimes, in ink. He's had no formal art training. His artwork has appeared on the covers of Bloodfire! Magazine by Warlock Les Hernandez, of which he was co-creator and in-house artist and The Devil’s Dairy VIII: Halloween XL A.S. by Warlock Draconis Blackthorne. His art also appeared on a cover of The Raven: Satanism-Lite Magazine in 1998- under the name Ron Silva and in the pages of The First Stone Magazine by Christopher J. Turner. He also did the cover for the soon-to-be-released 7 inch vinyl record titled “Sarah Alice Is Dead!” from the Satanic punk band, The Quintessentials. Aside from drawing, he writes short fiction ranging from sword and sorcery to horror/weird fiction, science fiction, and dark erotica. I am also the publisher of Dark Somewhere, a magazine of my own dark fiction. As an avid film watcher- horror, science fiction, fantasy, and film noir- he's written some movie reviews for Magister Matt G. Paradise’s web site, Sinister Screen.
Mike Suarez, a painter based in San Antonio, TX, allows his Satanic perspective to consistently, yet subtly, permeate his work. Regularly exhibiting work, one of Suarez’s main objectives is to cleverly introduce his audiences to Satanic concepts and ideas (which they typically find agreeable), all while maintaining a high degree of artistic quality that has seen his work widely praised.
G. Edwin Taylor
A visual master of the Weird, influenced by H.P. Lovecraft and the original Lovecraft circle as well as the pulp fiction art of the magazines of the 30's and 40's, G. Edwin Taylor is continually honing his craft. Taylor has been published as an artist and displays his drawings and paintings publicly. During his brief stint in the comic book industry his work was hailed by COMBO magazine as "...The most original we have seen in over a decade."
Additional professional credits include storyboard artist on several films and the addition of his captivating art to fine private collections throughout the country. He signed on with RevoltAmps as their artist, where he designs (freehand), the logos for their line of guitar and bass amps. His most recent endeavors include becoming the main cover artist for THE GHOST magazine. He is an Active member in good standing of the infamous Church of Satan and currently resides in Chicago, Illinois.
Art is the expression of his inner self and enables me the gathering of the surrealistic and the real world. As if through a mirror does the spectator examine the creation of NECROMANTISCH and, through pictures and sculptures, confronts himself automatically with his own reality.
The art of NECROMANTISCH deals exclusively with the prejudices of men. Throw moral, as well as the thought of good and evil on the pyre. Only those, who free themselves from the duality of thoughts, detect the might, sparkling out of this creation! The gasmasks and hoses symbolise the free breath, from which only the liberated human learns to live. The enslaved human realises only nails and pain. He sympathises…
All works of Warlock Teuber are, without exception, held in black. This does not only show his favourite colour, but does as well transmit the perception against the outside and the real world. Thereby one should mention that it is not remotely dark in the artists inside. Actually his inner flickers with brightness and power. Michel Teuber gains his inspiration there, where the origin begins, or rather where it ends. He works en passant at an undertaker’s as director of operations. During this occupation he confronts himself with his own self and finally unites his surrealistic world with the real one. Not forgetting his musical project „Biomechanik“, its first record was released 2005. The music of “Biomechanik” is a mixture of spherical, ritual sounds with a spicy pinch of Industrial sound. Samples and ordering is available on the artists’ website necromantic.ch. Biomechanik is also featured on the CD „A Tribute to Anton S. LaVey” at Black House Tribute Records.
Michel Teuber was born 1978 in Switzerland; there he currently lives on a farm with animals and calmly continues his work. Earlier this year in April, the Church of Satan placed him with the title of a Warlock.
